Developing Buncombe County's Future Hospitality Leaders
A thriving workforce is essential for our community’s livelihood with one out of every seven jobs supporting the visitor economy. That’s why the Explore Asheville Workforce Programs were created — to enrich the lives of residents through educational opportunities and foster growth and advancement in the tourism, travel, and hospitality industry, or related fields.
Hospitality Scholarship
Current and future students can receive up to $2,500 annually for four years at any North Carolina post-secondary institution. The scholarship covers tuition, housing, books, and other educational expenses.
Tourism & Hospitality Internship
Explore Asheville launched an internship program to provide students with an introduction to the tourism industry through hands-on experience and exposure to our partner offerings.
